N4G News v1.1.3 released

Release 1.1.3
- Added “Mark Read/Unread” feature for each news. Now, recently updated news or unread news will be marked with a “New” icon at the top right position of each news.

- Once you’ve touched in to read the news, the “New” icon will be automatically changed to “tick” icon indicating that the news is viewed. You can also changed between “Read” and “Unread” status by long pressing each news and select “Mark Read/Unread” from the pop up menu.

- You’ll be able to check all unread news by selecting “Mark All Read” from pressing the menu key in news listing screen.

- Changed new notification icon for “Auto Update” feature.

- Introducing the new Classy Black theme! Now you can switch between themes in the “Themes” setting under the “Display Preferences”.

- Enhanced content of the “News Sharing” feature. Now have better support for more apps and title of the article is included before every url shared.

- Max post storage for each channel increased to a maximum of 50. Check out the setting page for “Max Post Per Channel” setting.

- Added two new options in Preference screen.

1) Display Preferences > Keep Screen On: Users are now able to control whether to keep the details screen on (no screen timeout).

2) Update Preferences > Update Channel: Able to specify which channel to run auto update to avoid updating channels that you don’t usually read.

N4G News v1.0 released

Hi guys, this is my first ever Android App production – N4G News. This is an unofficial N4G app which allow you to read the latest or even the hottest gaming news and rumors from N4G site. It was one of the apps which I’ve been searching over and over again in the market ever since I bought my nexus one 10 months ago. I’m a programmer myself and I finally decided to develop it myself… lol. It was fun learning about the android development all this while.

This is my first attempt in the world of android apps development.  So, if there is any suggestion, feedback, feature request or even bug report, please don’t hesitate to contact me via email provided in the Android Market. Meanwhile I will keep improving the quality of the app.
